Cloud DevOps Engineer

Overview

The Cloud DevOps Engineer will support the rollout of our client’s Data Platform across several countries. The role focuses on infrastructure automation, DevOps governance, and enabling countries to use standardized templates and platform components.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and maintain Azure infrastructure using Terraform, Helm charts, and Infrastructure as Code.

• Support country onboarding by configuring platform templates, data catalogues, and Databricks components.

• Manage DevOps processes related to networking, firewall requests, and environment configuration.

• Implement and monitor Azure security controls (e.g., Microsoft Defender).

• Ensure smooth operation of Databricks workspaces and CI/CD integrations.

• Collaborate with Data Engineers and QA engineers on automation, deployment, and testing.

Required Skills

• Strong hands-on experience with Azure Cloud services and networking.

• Infrastructure as Code: Terraform, Helm, and Azure IaC tooling.

• Experience with Databricks configuration and environment setup.

• Ability to manage DevOps workflows for multi-country onboarding.

• Knowledge of Git-based pipelines and CI/CD platforms.

• Familiarity with security, compliance, and cloud governance processes.
