Business Analyst for LES/MES Modernization and Mutualization

We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst (BA) to provide critical internal oversight for our global LES/MES modernization program. This role is focused on governance, verification, and critical review of the solutions proposed and delivered by our external consulting partners. The goal is to ensure the upgrade of Apriso 2018 to Apriso 2025, the code modernization, and the cloud mutualization strictly adhere to our business objectives, quality standards, and budget.

This role serves as the internal subject matter expert who challenges the external contractor's proposals and validates all deliverables across the 160-plant rollout.

Main Responsibilities:

Core duty description: Oversee governance, verify solutions, and challenge external contractors throughout the modernization program.

• Solution Validation & Governance: Review functional and technical design documents of external contractors to ensure alignment with global business processes.

• Challenge Management: Scrutinize contractor's approach to code modernization to ensure technical debts are addressed and minimize custom code usage.

• Gap Closure Verification: Validate contractor's gap analysis between 2018 and 2025 versions ensuring efficient and cost-effective solutions.

• Requirements & Quality Assurance: Finalize functional specifications ensuring completeness and traceability to business requirements.

• Quality Metrics & Acceptance: Define and enforce acceptance criteria and quality metrics for all contractor deliverables.

• Testing Oversight: Lead internal User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to confirm functional integrity of business solutions.

• Change Control: Review justifications and implications of any change requests submitted by the business or suppliers.

Key Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years of experience in a Business Analyst or Functional Consultant role.

• Proven experience in vendor management, quality assurance, and solution governance.

• Mandatory in-depth functional knowledge of DELMIA Apriso (3DS).

• Superior analytical skills for reviewing technical and functional documentation.

• Experience in project governance standards and phase-gate reviews.

• Understanding of application hosting implications in cloud environments.

• Strong communication and negotiation skills.

Nice to Have:

• Experience with large, complex IS/IT programs.

• Familiarity with cloud mutualization protocols.

This position is intended for a global role, with a focus on overseeing a wide-scale program impacting over 160 plants. Candidates should be flexible with remote working arrangements until final rollout logistics are confirmed.
