Senior Business Analyst – Job Specification

We are seeking an ambitious and self-motivated Senior Business Analyst. This role is ideal for a self-starter with at least eight years’ experience as a Business Analyst that demonstrates exceptional requirements gathering and process mapping skills, stakeholder management, and the ability to flex and adapt to evolving business priorities as required.

Main Responsibilities

Core Responsibilities:

• Process Mapping: Lead the analysis and documentation of current and future business processes using Microsoft Visio.

• Requirements Elicitation: Conduct workshops and meetings to gather and document business and functional needs.

• Testing: Support testing activities including test case development and execution.

• Collaboration: Work closely with business users and development teams to ensure understanding of requirements.

• Change Request Discipline: Document and manage change requests.

• Focus on High Value Delivery: Support the identification and delivery of high value items.

• Business Readiness Support: Prepare training materials and communications for stakeholders.

• Stakeholder Management: Engage and manage relationships with stakeholders to understand expectations.

• Communications: Communicate effectively with diverse audiences.

• Project Management: Assist project managers in planning and delivery as necessary.

• Multi-tasking: Manage multiple projects and prioritize effectively.

• Flexibility: Adapt quickly to changing priorities.

• Cross-functional Working: Engage confidently with various business areas.

Key Requirements

• Minimum 8 years’ experience as a Business Analyst in complex environments.

• Expertise in process mapping using Microsoft Visio.

• Proven stakeholder management skills.

• Strong requirements elicitation and documentation abilities.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to work with both business and technical teams.

• Experience in test and project management is an advantage.

• Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and deliverables concurrently.

• Hard-working and flexible, thriving under pressure.

• Initiative and drive, a self-starter who is enthusiastic to learn.

• Ambitious, resilient, and adaptable.

Nice to Have

• Experience in test management.

• Familiarity with Agile methodologies.

Other Details

This role is under a hybrid model and requires 1 day a week in the office in Tallaght.
