Overview:

As a Business Analyst, you will play a key role in ensuring that we deliver accurate data for Financial Institutions’ ESG reporting. You will collaborate closely with a team of Danish colleagues and consultants, translating regulatory requirements into structured data solutions and SQL code within our Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDW).

This role offers a dynamic work environment where you will interact with multiple stakeholders, gain business development responsibilities over time, and have the opportunity to shape the ESG data landscape.

Responsibilities:

• Analyze high-level user stories and translate them into SQL-based data solutions.
• Work closely with business developers and member banks to define reporting needs.
• Identify and retrieve required data from the EDW for regulatory reporting.
• Monitor upcoming ESG regulations and contribute to user story creation.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate data delivery.
• Over time, take on business development responsibilities within ESG.

Requirements:

•  2-5 years of experience as a Business Analayst
• SQL experience – strong ability to query and manipulate structured data. 
• Excellent English skills – ability to communicate effectively with Danish colleagues.
• Relevant academic degree – e.g., Finance, IT, Data Science, or a related field.
•  Analytical mindset – ability to interpret data and provide insights.
• Self-driven and proactive – capable of working independently and following up on tasks.
• Basic financial understanding – knowledge of banking and accounting principles.

Nice-to-Have Qualifications

• Experience with Power BI, SAS, or Azure DevOps.
• Scrum methodology experience.
•  Understanding of ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) reporting.
