Job Description – Business Analyst (BPCE ES Dataverse Team)Profile Required

• Techno-functional profile (Data Analyst / Business Analyst / Data Engineer) with 5+ years of experience in Data Warehousing and BI.

• Strong fundamentals in Data Warehousing and BI concepts.

• Proven experience in designing BI solutions from scratch.

• Knowledge of Agile Scrum practices (story slicing, grooming, daily scrums, iteration planning, retrospectives, test-driven, model storming).

• Hands-on experience in Data Governance and Management.

• Prior experience in pitching proposals/solutions in BI and leading their successful implementation.

Functional Skills

• Strong domain knowledge in Finance/Banking – preferably Asset Finance, Equipment Finance, or Leasing.

Technical Skills

• SQL – Ability to write complex queries for accessing and analyzing data.

• Database – Experience with Postgres DB.

Personal Skills

• Excellent communication skills (written & verbal) with ability to interact across diverse stakeholder groups.

• Strong capability to identify and raise risks/alerts when necessary.

• Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-location teams and ensure consistent delivery.

Good to Have (Optional)

• ETL Tools – DataStage / Informatica / MS SSIS / Talend.

• Reporting Tools – Power BI, Tableau, SAP BO.

• Scripting/Automation – Shell scripting and scheduling tools.

Roles and ResponsibilitiesBusiness Needs & Requirements Elicitation

• Engage with business stakeholders to understand expectations and gather functional requirements.

• Analyze inputs from multiple sources to determine system changes for new projects and enhancements.

• Prepare functional analysis, specification documentation, and validate business requirements.

Solutioning

• Specify, design, and develop Business Intelligence and Data Warehousing solutions.

• Define and develop data transformations aligned with business needs.

• Specify and create reports/visualizations as per requirements.

• Recommend solutions and improvements to enhance solution quality and delivery efficiency.

Testing & Validation

• Perform functional checks to ensure alignment with business needs.

• Conduct data validation and data quality checks to ensure reliable, high-quality data.

Coordination & Interactions

• Act as the bridge between business stakeholders and technical/development teams.

• Work with cross-location teams to ensure smooth collaboration and consistent delivery.

• Participate in BI/DW forums and contribute to knowledge sharing and best practices.
