📌 Project Overview

  • Industry: Automotive (Swedish vehicle manufacturer)

  • Location: Remote, with 2 business trips per year to Sweden

  • Contract Type: B2B

  • Rate: Up to €45/hour + VAT

  • Team Size: ~25 people

  • Project Scope: Modernizing legacy backend systems and building high-quality, proactive solutions that support the global sales ecosystem.


🧩 Tech Stack

  • Backend split: 70% Node.js / 30% .NET

  • Main Technologies:

    • .NET Core / .NET 6–8

    • Node.js, TypeScript

    • AWS (Serverless Lambda, DynamoDB, RDS, ECS, AWS CDK)

    • PostgreSQL, Docker

    • GitLab CI, Unit/Integration/E2E testing

    • Event-driven architecture: Kafka, AWS EventBridge


🎯 Responsibilities

  • Lead and contribute to initiatives improving and modernizing the backend landscape.

  • Implement features, bug fixes, and enhancements across the platform.

  • Build and maintain scalable APIs using AWS services.

  • Design and optimize databases (PostgreSQL, DynamoDB).

  • Support event-driven systems and deployment workflows with AWS CDK.

  • Collaborate closely within a large development team.

  • Occasionally work with legacy systems and contribute to their gradual refactoring.


✅ Key Requirements

  • 5–6+ years of experience as a .NET Developer

  • Solid hands-on experience with Node.js and TypeScript

  • Proficiency in AWS services (Lambda, DynamoDB, RDS, ECS, CDK)

  • Strong testing mindset (unit, integration, E2E)

  • Comfortable working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment

  • Attention to code quality, maintainability, and system evolution


🌟 Nice to Have

  • Experience with Docker

  • Familiarity with LocalStack
