Summary:

The role involves designing, deploying, and managing Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) environments to meet various business requirements, with a strong focus on performance and security compliance.

Main Responsibilities:

• Design, deploy, and manage Azure Virtual Desktop environments for various business needs.

• Implement AVD scaling plans, host pools, session hosts, FSLogix profiles, and application groups.

• Configure and manage image management, updates, and golden images.

• Monitor AVD environments and optimize performance and cost-efficiency.

• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to user access, latency, performance, and policy configuration.

• Integrate AVD with Microsoft Intune, Active Directory (Azure AD/Hybrid), and other identity management solutions.

• Develop automation scripts using PowerShell, ARM templates, or Azure CLI for deployment and maintenance.

• Ensure security compliance and governance policies are implemented within AVD environments.

• Collaborate with cybersecurity, helpdesk, and infrastructure teams for seamless operations.

• Maintain technical documentation, SOPs, and knowledge base articles.

Key Requirements:

• 3+ years of experience with Microsoft Azure, including hands-on AVD setup and administration.

• Strong understanding of virtual desktop infrastructure (VDI), FSLogix, and Windows 10/11 multi-session.

• Experience with Azure AD, Active Directory, Group Policy, and identity integrations.

• Proficiency with PowerShell scripting and automation tools.

• Familiarity with Microsoft Endpoint Manager/Intune.

• Experience with monitoring tools like Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, or third-party solutions.

Nice to Have:

• Experience with ticketing tool Helix.
