Architect (with German, C#/.Net, C++)

Project goal:

The project aims to modernize and migrate the Profood ERP system from C++ to a C#/.NET architecture.

Responsibilities:

• Analyze and document the current ERP architecture (C/C++ backend on Linux).

• Design a modernized ERP architecture and transformation roadmap.

• Define milestones, security guidelines, and best practices for modernization.

• Collaborate with the client’s in-house development team (6 people) and senior stakeholders.

• Ensure system scalability, maintainability, and alignment with business needs.

• Contribute technical expertise on C/C++, .NET, and database integration (Oracle/SQL).

• Prepare technical documentation and present the roadmap to the management team.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Software or Solution Architect, ideally in ERP or enterprise transformation projects.

• Strong technical knowledge of C/C++, Linux (SLES15), and .NET (WinForms).

• Experience with databases (Oracle, SQL) and integration technologies (CORBA, SOAP).

• Understanding of security concepts, object-oriented programming, and memory management.

• Familiarity with Terraform, Bash/Perl scripting, or automation tools is an advantage.

• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

• Fluent in German and good English skills.
