Application Manager

PROJECT INFORMATION:

• Industry: banking
• Location: Gdynia (hybrid – 1x per week in the office)
• Rate: up to 190 pln/h net + vat, B2B
• Project languages: English, Polish

YOUR TASKS:

• You will be the primary contact person for IIS domain units and stakeholders for the applications that you are responsible for
• Responsible for maintaining your applications in terms of operations and support in close collaboration with AO and AM team, support team and other business units
• Involve in incident resolution and Root Cause Analysis and Problem management of the incidents related to your applications, call in other subject matter experts related to your applications to help investigation
• Ensure preventive actions taken during root cause analysis of incidents
• Help in impact analysis of incidents by analyzing various metrics and indicators
• Ensure the compliance of your applications according to company Application Management Guidelines in collaboration with the application team and application owner, and be responsible for the risks registrations and mitigations
• Ensure the data related to your applications portfolio are up to date in various systems
• Involved in budgeting for your applications and follow-up the costs vs. budget periodically
• Drive or be involved in various decision-making for your application portfolio
• Contribute building ways of working / processes with other Application Providers
• Drive the communication with various stakeholders across different organizations regarding your application portfolio

REQUIREMENTS:

• Strong technical experience/background in IT (IT Service manager or IT Project Manager with experience as Developer, Architect, DevOps, QA, and Operations)
• Good understanding of IT infrastructure and architectures (esp. Java, Kafka, Oracle)
• Analytical, persistent and can-do attitude
• Great interpersonal and collaboration skills, as well as driving things further by taking necessary actions
• Several years of professional experience within the IT areas mentioned above
• Master’s/Bachelor’s Degree in engineering fields supported with IT experience
• Fluency in communicating in written and spoken English and Polish

NICE TO HAVE:

• Knowledge and understanding of monitoring tools such as Splunk, Grafana or similar.
• ITIL training/certificate.
