Project Overview

Join a team of 7 specialists (SAP Developers, Back-end Developer, iOS Developer, Android Developer, Front-end Developer) working on a suite of 6 products to optimize workforce management in the energy sector. The role focuses on scheduling work, managing meters, and handling processes like replacements and maintenance.

Technologies & Competencies

• 5+ years of experience as an Android Developer
• Development: Android Studio, Kotlin, Java
• UI: Jetpack Compose, XML Views, ViewBinding
• State Management: LiveData, StateFlow
• Dependency Injection: Dagger
• Networking: Retrofit (REST API)
• Data Storage: Room Database, WorkManager for background tasks
• Security & Optimization: ProGuard, R8
• Asynchronous Programming: Coroutines, Observables
• Testing: Espresso, Robolectric, Mockito/MockK
• Messaging & Notifications: Firebase Messaging
• Camera APIs: CameraX for image handling
• CI/CD: Azure Pipeline
• Authentication & User Management: Microsoft Authentication Library (MSAL), Azure DevOps
• Google Play Console: Release management
• Dutch language skills are a plus!

Responsibilities

• Translating business requirements into user stories.
• Developing and maintaining Android app features.
• Fixing data-related issues (requires SQL and backend architecture knowledge).
• Code reviews and pull request management.
• Participating in refinement meetings.
• Managing user accounts, roles, and permissions in Azure DevOps.
• Training and supporting users (team members, planners, mechanics).
