Alfresco Developer and Administrator

Responsibilities:

• System Maintenance & Administration: Perform day-to-day administration, monitor system performance, manage user roles and permissions, and ensure the health of the Alfresco environment.

• Development & Customization: Design and implement custom content models, workflows, rules, and behaviors to meet evolving business requirements.

• Upgrades & Patching: Plan and execute Alfresco version upgrades and apply necessary security patches.

• Integration: Develop and maintain integrations between Alfresco and other business applications using REST APIs and CMIS.

• Support & Troubleshooting: Act as Level 2/Level 3 support to resolve technical issues reported by end-users.

• Documentation: Maintain up-to-date technical documentation for system architecture, custom developments, and operational procedures.

Must Haves:

• Proven experience in Alfresco Content Services (ACS) architecture, installation, and configuration.

• Strong proficiency in Java and the Spring Framework, as well as JavaScript/TypeScript.

• Experience with Apache Solr configuration and relational databases like PostgreSQL, MySQL, or Oracle.

• Solid understanding of RESTful APIs, CMIS, and Web Services.

• Familiarity with deployment architectures including Linux, Tomcat, Docker, and CI/CD pipelines.

Nice to Haves:

• Experience with Alfresco Application Development Framework (ADF) or Alfresco Share.
