Access Management Solution Architect (part-time)

PROJECT INFORMATION:

Industry: Chemical/ Swiss multinational manufacturer of fragrances.

Start: ASAP/ at the beginning of January

Rate: depending on experience

Contract (2 options): 1. Part-time (2-3 times/week) for 6 months OR 2.Full-time job for 3 months 

Location: 100% remote work / any European country

Project language: English

We’re looking for a Solution Architect who will be responsible for defining architecture and designing patterns for the consistent and efficient implementation of AM services. You will write the high and low-level designs, standards and procedures for AM solutions, based on Microsoft technologies.

You will also work on further development lifecycle, you will provide guidance and support the engineers on the deployment of the solution and the integration with other systems.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Write architecture standards and design documentation that align with corporate security principles.
• Develop and document AM applications architecture solutions to business problems in alignment with the enterprise architecture direction and standards:

○Partner alongside application architects to design and develop AM cloud/hybrid-based solutions considering data protection, cryptography and key management.

○Work closely with development teams to design and build API integrations authenticated by the identity management platform.

○Work with Enterprise Architecture, Infrastructure (Security/Network/Technologies) Services, and Development teams to choose appropriate technology solutions and facilitate complete integration into the company environments.

○In a later stage: Create the technical approach for the shared operational capabilities of Customer Identity and Access Management, including customer registration, self-service, authentication, authorization, administration, audit, and reporting.

REQUIREMENTS:

• 5 years’ experience with practices on a similar AM Solution Architect role mastering Access Management concepts such as authentication, authorization, application security, privacy and consent management, regulatory compliance, multi-factor authentication, federation, and risk management.
• Education & Experience: A bachelor's or master’s degree in a related field or 11+ years of relevant experience.
• Core Skills:
• Access Management (authentication, authorization, privacy, consent, multi-factor authentication, etc.).
• Experience with IAM standards, RESTful API design, tokens, and session management.
• Familiarity with federation protocols like SAML, OAuth, OpenID Connect.
• Microsoft Entra ID (formerly Azure Active Directory) and other IAM solutions.
• Identity lifecycle management, federation technologies.
• Experience with cloud platforms, especially AWS or Azure.
• Knowledge of security technologies (LDAP, RBAC, PKI, SIEM).
• PKI and API certificates.
• Bonus Skills:
• Familiarity with DevOps tools.
• Knowledge of Java development.

Soft Skills:

• Strong communication skills in English (French is a plus).
• Ability to work collaboratively with various stakeholders and teams.
