The opportunity:
We are looking for a qualified person who will join our QA team that is responsible for quality verification of our desktop applications running on Windows and macOS. Main responsibilities include creation and execution of test cases based on delivered requirements, reporting them in bug tracking system and verification of features/fixes done by development team. Desktop application itself is a part of high scale system used for management of files placed on the cloud or local servers (hybrid solution).
Your day-to-day at Egnyte:
- Design and maintain tests for Egnyte Desktop
- Preparation and execution of test cases based on delivered requirements
- Full understanding of a product (desktop application)
- Verification of sprint tickets delivered by the team
- Detecting and documenting bugs/improvements
- Direct cooperation with development team (inc. Product Owner)
About you:
- Experience in performing manual tests on desktop apps (Windows or MacOS)
- Experience in designing test cases based on delivered requirements
- Knowledge about testing methodologies and test types
- Communicative English
- Basic knowledge about Windows/ MacOs command line interface
Bonus skills:
- Basic experience in automation
- Experience in test plan preparation
- Experience in emulation/ virtualization of desktop
- Experience in Windows/ MacOs command line interface
- Basic knowledge of SQL
