📢 Position: Business Architect (Banking Domain)

Location: Remote (with occasional business travel)

Onboarding: First month onsite in KSA – all costs covered by Efigence

🌍 About the Role:

As a Business Architect, you will design and optimize business capabilities, products, services, and processes. You will actively collaborate with stakeholders across business and IT, ensuring alignment between strategic goals and the target architecture.

Your first month will be spent onsite in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA) as part of an in-depth onboarding program that will help you fully understand the bank’s environment, stakeholders, and transformation roadmap.

🚀 What you will do:

• Support the development and alignment of departmental strategy, policies, and processes.

• Identify opportunities for continuous improvement to enhance efficiency and productivity.

• Execute day-to-day Business Architecture tasks in line with established standards.

• Develop and maintain business architecture artefacts, including capabilities, products, services, and processes, mapped to the IT landscape.

• Create business architecture models and high-level designs illustrating system and process interactions.

• Analyze BRDs, use cases, and process workflows to assess architectural impact and define target-state solutions.

• Translate business requirements into clear technical specifications and identify optimal solution paths.

• Collaborate with Business, IT, and Architecture teams to ensure alignment with business architecture principles and target-state design.

• Support architectural governance, including committee participation and RFP/RFI reviews.

• Maintain accurate Business Architecture documentation within the EA repository.

• Prepare required reports and contribute to meetings representing the Business Architecture function.

• Comply with relevant safety, quality, and environmental standards.

• Perform other related duties as assigned.

🎓 The profile we are seeking:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Finance, or related fields.

• 10–15 years of experience in the banking sector, including 8+ years as a Business Architect or Business Analyst.

• Strong domain expertise across areas such as Accounts & Deposits, Lending, Cards, Payments, Treasury, Finance, and Risk.

• Proven ability to convert business requirements into technical specifications.

• Advanced English required; Arabic is an advantage.

• EA certifications (TOGAF, BIAN) preferred; CBAP or PMI-PBA considered a plus.

• Deep understanding of business architecture methodologies and best practices.

• Strong strategic and systems-thinking abilities.

• Experience with design thinking and change management approaches.

• Solid understanding of banking systems and emerging technology trends.

• Ability to synthesize complex information into clear, actionable architectural outputs.

• Attention to communication style and clarity.

• Appropriate dress code in formal business settings.
