What You'll Be Doing

• Build modern, responsive APIs for cross-platform single-page applications (SPAs).
• Participate in product design discussions, offering input on architecture and planning.
• Develop and test new user-facing features, ensuring scalability and performance.
• Write clean, reusable, and testable code that adheres to best practices.
• Optimize applications for speed and reliability.
• Collaborate with team members and other departments to brainstorm ideas, set objectives, and develop solutions.

What We're Looking For

• Proficiency in Ruby on Rails with 5+ years of experience building complex, scalable web applications.
• Strong experience with object-oriented programming (OOP), MVC architecture, and design patterns.
• Expertise in Ruby syntax and core concepts, with a focus on writing clear, maintainable code.
• Skilled in creating secure and clean APIs with role-based access and authentication.
• Hands-on experience with SQL and NoSQL databases such as MySQL, Elasticsearch, CouchBase, or Redis.
• Proficient with version control systems like Git.
