Your scope
What you will be doing:
- Work with key stakeholders in product design/management and executive team to define strategy and requirements
- Work closely with other engineers to design, implement, test, deploy and maintain software solutions supporting ECM platform
- Solve complex problems with a strong focus on performance, scalability, and security
- Lead projects to improve engineering, test, and operational excellence best practices on the team to reduce churn on implementation.
- Mentor & grow engineers across the team, leading by example and insisting on high standards
Requirements
What you will be bringing:
- 5+ years of commercial experience as a Software Development Engineer
- 5+ years of programming experience with at least one modern programming language (Go preferably, C/C++, Ruby, Python)
- 2+ years of experience contributing to architecture and design of new and concurrent systems
- Experience with Databases (PostgreSQL, MySql), DataStores (ElasticSearch, Redis)
- Strong Computer Science and development fundamentals, including object-oriented design, data structures, algorithm design
- Strong knowledge related to concurrent programming and hands-on experience with highly scalable, distributed systems
- A strong self-starter, operationally focused, a problem-solver attitude
"Nice to have" requirements
- Experience working with public cloud providers (Azure / AWS / GCP)
- Familiarity with MS SQL
