Position: Python Backend Engineer
Salary: 25 500 – 29 500 PLN
Type of contract: B2B (Employment via an EOR partner)
Our Client is a rapidly growing product company from the fintech industry. Over the past couple of years they have been helping their B2B clients by building an automated debt collection and risk management solution.They are a small, agile company, yet their product is now used by some of the biggest public trade companies in the world. They are on the path to a swift transformation from a startup into a scaleup organization with an incredibly exciting future!
Responsibilities
Design and build robust backends that power business transformation
Create sophisticated data models that reflect complex business rules
Develop reliable integrations between modern and legacy systems
Build powerful APIs that connect disparate business systems
Implement secure, scalable solutions for business-critical operations
Requirements
5+ years of programming experience with Python
Understanding of APIs (web services)
Willingness to step forward and suggest ideas, comments, and remarks
Django framework expert
Django REST Framework and AWS experience are nice to have, but we’re happy to help you with learning them on the job
Experience building and maintaining large-scale applications
Excellence in database design and optimization
Understanding of complex data modeling and migrations
Clear written communicator who prefers emails to meetings
Portfolio showing systematic, well-structured work
Ability to work directly with the customer (customer-facing role)
Willingness to participate in sales and status talks – at least twice a week,
Potential to develop into a team leader in the next 6–12 months (50% programming, 50% team and customer management)
