Responsible for business requirements, feature prioritization, and user feedback.

The business goal is to develop an energy management system (EMS) for BESS (Battery Energy Storage Systems) installations and hybrid installations combining energy storage and photovoltaic systems. The EMS will enable control, monitoring, and optimization of energy consumption, allowing investors to primarily maximize revenue from energy sales and services provided to grid operators — compared to installations without an energy management system (achieving NPV > 0 over a 7-year period and a phase shift in the cycle of less than 5%). Additionally, the system will ensure safe operation in compliance with contractual obligations. The developed EMS must also support deployment in future investments with varying technical parameters.

Requirements

• Has a basic understanding of energy systems and investment finance

• Can collaborate effectively with engineers and data scientists

• Understands the energy market landscape and can translate it into a product roadmap
