We are looking for a DevOps Engineer to join our Platform Team and help us scale, optimize, and maintain our cloud infrastructure. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience managing Kubernetes clusters (preferably EKS in AWS), working with Terraform for infrastructure automation, and handling AWS services. Experience with GitLab CI/CD, observability tools, and Terragrunt is a strong plus. The person will have the opportunity to work with modern cloud infrastructure influencing the DevOps culture and best practices.

Your responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and maintain scalable, secure, and highly available cloud infrastructure on AWS.
• Manage and optimize Kubernetes clusters (EKS preferred), including deployment automation using Helm.
• Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform and Terragrunt.
• Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines in GitLab, ensuring efficient workflows.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and enhance system performance using observability tools such as New Relic, ELK stack, OpenTelemetry.
• Ensure infrastructure security, compliance, and best practices in cloud environments.
• Collaborate with development teams to support application deployment, performance tuning, and automation initiatives.
• Improve DevOps practices, drive innovation, and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement.
• Stay up to date with the latest trends in cloud infrastructure, DevOps tools, and best practices.

General expectations:

• 2+ years commercial experience in administering Kubernetes clusters (including Helm; EKS preferred)
• 2+ years commercial experience in managing AWS cloud environments, including networking, RDS, EC2, S3, IAM, etc.
• Strong knowledge of Terraform for infrastructure provisioning and cloud resources management (IaC)
• Hands-on experience with developing, automating & maintaining GitLab CI/CD workflows

Nice to have:

• Hands-on experience with Terragrunt for managing Terraform configurations
• Knowledge of observability concepts & tools (New Relic, ELK, Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, OpenTelemetry)
• Programming skills in Java / PHP / Python to assist in debugging, automation, or application optimizations
• Experience in ensuring security, scalability, and high availability across infrastructure
• Understanding concepts of software programming and software development life-cycle
