Digital Wave Finance is looking for an enthusiastic and passionate System Administrator with a degree in IT (or similar). We are a young firm in the heart of Switzerland. We build next-generation trading strategies and systems based on sound mathematical models.

Location: Zug, Switzerland | Relocation support provided

Main Responsibilities

• Manage Ubuntu Linux systems in data center and cloud VPCs

• Install, provision and configure Linux servers

• Troubleshoot hardware, system and application issues

• Implement systems/network/performance monitoring

• Improve on infrastructure and security

Requirements

• Strong grasp on Linux OS

• Automation and configuration management using Ansible, Terraform

• Understanding of Ethernet/IP networking and related protocols

• Experience with NFS/Ceph storage

• Exposure to Docker/Kubernetes containerization

• Basic understanding of SQL, NoSQL, Key-Value DBs

• Scripting in Bash, Python

• Basic comprehension of C/C++

• CI/CD: Gitlab, Jenkins
