We are looking for a Senior Frontend Engineer to join the team. You will be responsible for rebuilding the frontend from scratch, with performance optimization as the primary goal. The team is looking for someone who can work independently, take ownership of technical decisions, and contribute actively to the overall product direction.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of overall professional experience as a frontend engineer

• Strong proficiency in JavaScript, with experience building scalable, high-performance applications

• 5+ years of experience with React, including modern component-based architecture and performance optimization

• 2+ years of experience working with Lightning.js, preferably on TV or set-top box platforms

• Background in TV- or video-related products, such as streaming platforms, media players, or broadcast applications is a huge plus

• Ability to work closely with product, design, and backend teams to deliver user-focused solutions

• Experience optimizing performance and ensuring smooth playback and UI responsiveness on constrained devices

• Ability to communicate effectively in English

Key Responsibilities:

• Contribute to redevelopment of the application from the ground up, owning architecture and core technical decisions

• Design and implement a high-performance frontend with a strong focus on optimization, efficiency, and scalability

• Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks, ensuring smooth and responsive user experiences across devices

• Translate product requirements into clean, maintainable, and well-structured code

• Ensure code quality through testing, reviews, and performance monitoring throughout the rewrite process
