Senior Golang Developer

About project

The project is an Enterprise Browser pre-built with an extensive toolbox of cybersecurity and encryption features that allows any size business to frictionlessly secure, manage, and scale a location-agnostic workforce.

Due to working with an international client, we require occasional availability after 5:00 PM

Must have skills 

• Good understanding of Golang and microservices architecture
• Commercial experience in software development – backend systems preferably
• Understanding of relational (postgres) and NoSQL databases
• 5+ years of proven experience writing high-quality code in a collaborative environment.
• An understanding of design for scalability, performance, and reliability.
• Self-motivated and proactive, able to take ownership and deliver results.
• Ability and willingness to learn about new technologies.

Your responsibilities

On this project, you will (along with our team) Develop, test, and support features. Create and maintain automated unit tests and functional tests. Design infrastructure for new features with the input of peers.Manage individual projects and milestones with abundant communication of progress. Seek, give, and receive critical feedback in a constructive manner, including but not limited to code review.

Nice to have skills

• Experience in building and deploying containerized services
• Experience working with protobuf and gRPC
• Knowledge of Golang Connect framework
• Managing build automation with Bazel
