Develocraft is looking for a System Engineer or a company that specializes in products for the insurance market, designs, implements, and integrates complex IT systems for business.
Responsibilities:
- Provide operational support and management of various IT systems and services (Windows, OS, Linux OS, SAN storage, Backups)
- Participate in problem-solving efforts and offer ideas to solve client issues
- Monitoring systems performance and ensure system availability and reliability
- Work within established configuration and change management policies to ensure awareness, approval, and Success of changes made to the network infrastructure
- Work to SLA thresholds for incident(s), request(s) and problem(s)
- Develop, improve and optimize the performance of IT systems, devices, and services in an enterprise environment
- Work with a variety of business and technical teams to enhance service
Qualifications:
- At least 5 years of experience with similar position
- Knowledge of IT systems and services – VMWare ESX, Windows OS, Linux OS
- Knowledge of SAN storage systems – IBM, EMC
- Knowledge of backup systems – NetBackup, Veem, EMC Data Domain
- Engineering skills and the ability to analyze the impact technology has on different IT components
- Real-time troubleshooting, ability to apply problem-solving techniques
- Continuous improvement attitude and proactive mindset
- Hands-on experience with monitoring, IT systems and services diagnostic and analytics tools
- English B2 level
