    Job description

    Develocraft is looking for a Senior Python Developer to be a part of an international team working on data platforms and product insights in a cloud native environment.

    Responsibilities:

    • Building and supporting data ingestion and processing pipelines. ETL of ‘big data’ from a wide variety of sources, both batch and streaming, using the latest data frameworks and technologies, along with real time monitoring dashboards and alerting.
    • Assembling large, complex data sets that meet functional and non-functional business requirements.
    • Partnering with product to ensure build out of Data Dictionaries, ensure detailed documentation and knowledge around data assets, metrics and KPIs.
    • Warehousing this data, building data marts, data aggregations, metrics, KPIs, business logic that leads to actionable insights into our product efficacy, marketing platform, customer behavior, retention etc.

    Qualifications:

    • Minimum 4+ years of experience in Python and SQL
    • Experience with building ‘big data’ data pipelines with distributed frameworks like Apache Spark, Dataflow etc. along with workflow automation & scheduling frameworks like Apache Airflow
    • Experience with Building DataMarts in OLAPs, assembling large and complex data sets that meet functional / non-functional business requirements, Data modeling & cataloging
    • Knowledge of SQL & distributed NO-SQL datastores (DBA level) eg. Postgres, MongoDB, BigQuery, Cassandra etc.
    • Experience in building enterprise scale software using Java/Scala/C#/F#, Docker, Kubernetes etc.
