Infrastructure Engineer (Remote)

DevAbundance is partnering with a global corporate brand to find a highly experienced Infrastructure Engineer to join a small, agile team of 4 professionals. This is a fully remote position with a start date as soon as the candidate successfully completes the interview process.

Monthly B2B salary: 26,000 - 32,000 PLN net.

About the Role:

As an Infrastructure Engineer, you’ll join our client’s growing technology and operations teams to help them scale their systems and keep their platform secure and reliable. You’ll work closely with our client’s Munich team to design, build, and maintain infrastructure using Terraform, AWS, and Kubernetes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Build, automate, and maintain infrastructure with Terraform and AWS

• Orchestrate containerized applications using Kubernetes

• Ensure secure, reliable, and highly available production systems

• Work on zero-downtime deployments and 24/7 service operations

• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented infrastructure code

• Continuously improve security, monitoring, and reliability of our client’s platform

• Collaborate with the wider engineering team and contribute to knowledge sharing

• Communicate openly and proactively, supporting a healthy error culture

Candidate Profile:

• Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience) in Computer Science or a related field

• Proven hands-on experience with Terraform and core AWS services

• Deep knowledge of Linux systems

• Solid experience deploying containers with Kubernetes

• Experience managing 24/7 production environments with high uptime requirements

• Strong focus on security and reliability in past projects

• Background in regulated industries is a plus

• Experience in financial services or card issuing is highly beneficial

• Excellent team player who enjoys open communication and collaboration

• Good command of English (required); German is a plus

Interview Process:

1. 2x Technical Interview: Assessment of programming skills and problem-solving abilities.

2. Final Interview: Discussion with the CTO focusing on cultural fit and alignment with company values.
