We are partnering with an international client in the financial sector to find a System-Oriented Engineer with extensive experience in infrastructure management, migration, and optimization. This position will play a crucial role in preparing and executing a migration project to a cloud-based environment.

- Phase 1:
- Understand the existing infrastructure and tools.
- Provide day-to-day support to the team to prepare for the migration.
- Phase 2:
- Lead and contribute to the execution of the infrastructure migration project.
- Implement new system structures and solutions to enhance performance, particularly in a cloud-based environment.
- Manage and monitor all installed systems and infrastructure (on-premises and cloud) for optimal performance and availability.
- Ensure security, redundancy, and robust backup strategies.
- Develop and maintain automation scripts to increase system efficiency.
- Provide 2nd and 3rd level technical support.
- Collaborate with vendors and IT personnel for issue resolution.
- System-Oriented Expertise:
- Linux and Microsoft environments.
- Containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Cloud platforms, especially AWS.
- Automation tools (Ansible).
- Network experience and familiarity with protocols and devices.
- Database management, especially MariaDB.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a System/Network Administrator or similar role.
- In-depth understanding of on-premises and cloud-based infrastructure services.
- Experience with automation, patch management, and virtualization tools (e.g., VMware).
- Knowledge of system security, IT service management (ITIL), and data backup/recovery.
- Solid scripting skills (e.g., Python, Shell).
- Experience with monitoring and SIEM tools (e.g., Nagios, Splunk).
- Familiarity with IT security standards (ISO, PCI DSS).
- Proficiency in English, both written and verbal.
