📎 We are looking for Software Engineer (Java+React) on behalf of our client to join to the leader from the largest Swiss financial holding company.

Work mode: Hybrid – 3 days in the office

📍 Location: Krakow

We are looking for an experienced Java Developer who is equally confident working with cutting-edge frameworks as well as technologies that were widely used more than a decade ago.

The ideal candidate will be comfortable maintaining and modernizing legacy systems, while also contributing to the development of React-based user interfaces.

This role offers the opportunity to combine deep backend expertise with hands-on involvement in frontend initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and optimize backend services in Java.

• Work with both modern frameworks (Spring Boot, Quarkus) and legacy stacks (Struts, JSP, JDBC).

• Contribute to architectural design and system integration within a complex enterprise environment.

• Collaborate with Oracle Database: schema design, SQL, and PL/SQL programming.

• Manage CI/CD pipelines and deploy applications to Azure (App Services, Azure SQL, Kubernetes).

• Participate in UI development with React and TypeScript, closely collaborating with the frontend team.

• Conduct code reviews, share knowledge, and mentor junior developers.

• Strong proficiency in Java (8/11/17) + Groovy.

• Solid experience with modern frameworks (Spring, Spring Boot, Hibernate).

• Familiarity with legacy enterprise technologies (Struts, JSP, JDBC).

• Strong knowledge of Oracle Database, SQL, and PL/SQL.

• Hands-on experience deploying and maintaining applications in Azure.

• Practical knowledge of React and TypeScript with willingness to actively contribute to UI development.

• Proficiency with Git and CI/CD tools (Azure DevOps, Jenkins, etc.).

• Experience migrating legacy systems to modern technology stacks.

• Understanding of microservices architecture principles.

• Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
