Snowflake Developer

Dear Consultant,

We are seeking a highly skilled Snowflake Developer to join our multinational client team and contribute to the design, implementation, and optimization of data pipelines using Snowflake. This role is fully remote, providing flexibility while working on innovative projects in a global environment.

Job Title: Snowflake Developer

Location: Remote (Based in Warsaw, Poland)

Employment Type: Open to B2B Contract and Permanent Roles

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain ETL/ELT processes to load data from various sources into Snowflake.
• Leverage 3+ years of Snowflake experience to design, optimize, and manage ELT pipelines.
• Ensure query optimization and enhance performance using clustering and partitioning strategies.
• Utilize MS SQL for data modeling and query optimization.
• Monitor and optimize Snowflake performance, including query tuning and storage management.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
• Utilize programming languages (e.g., Python, .NET) for scripting and automation tasks.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• 5+ years of ETL development experience with a strong understanding of data engineering concepts.
• 3+ years of hands-on experience with Snowflake in ELT deployment.
• Proficiency in MS SQL, with expertise in data modeling and query optimization.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with global teams.
• Experience with programming languages (e.g., Python, .NET) and scripting.

Nice to Have:

• Experience leading and managing database migration projects.
• Experience working in the financial services industry.
• Knowledge of data integration tools such as SSIS or SSAS.
• Familiarity with CI/CD processes and DevOps practices for data pipelines.
• Snowflake certification (e.g., SnowPro Core) is preferred.
• Experience with AWS or other cloud platforms is a plus.
