Senior Quality Analyst (Remote b2b Contract) WP/HB)

We are seeking a Senior Quality Analyst to support the testing and validation of a cloud-based computation engine used in geoscientific applications. Key Responsibilities:

1. Lead testing efforts for a geoscience-focused cloud-based computation platform
2. Apply domain expertise in geomodelling or earth modeling to identify testing gaps and validate workflows
3. Enhance existing testing frameworks and contribute to QA best practices
4. Advocate for automation, streamline manual testing, and improve feature delivery speed
5. Execute regression, exploratory, and functional testing
6. Create detailed test cases and defects in Azure DevOps (ADO)
7. Collaborate with cross-functional teams and mentor junior QA engineers
8. Ensure alignment with product objectives and maintain high-quality standards across releases

Required Skills & Experience:

1. 7+ years of QA experience in enterprise software
2. Strong background in geoscience, geomodelling, or earth modeling domains
3. Proficiency in creating and executing comprehensive test plans
4. Experience in automated testing and working with cloud platforms, microservices, and big data
5. Familiarity with Agile environments and distributed teams
6. Clear communicator with a proactive, detail-oriented mindset

Desirable:

1. Experience in modeling software or Oil & Gas industry
