About the Role:

We are seeking a Senior IT Architect for a multinational client to join a dynamic team responsible for managing and migrating infrastructure to a cloud-based environment. This hybrid role offers an excellent opportunity to work in a high-tech, fast-paced environment where your expertise in system and network management will make a significant impact.

: Senior IT Architect

Location: Hybrid, Warsaw (2 days onsite per week)

Client: Multinational Organization (Financial Sector)

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement new IT system structures, especially for cloud environments.
• Manage and monitor on-premise and cloud-based systems to ensure optimal performance and availability.
• Develop and execute backup, redundancy, and patch management strategies.
• Automate infrastructure processes using scripting tools to enhance efficiency.
• Troubleshoot and resolve system issues (2nd and 3rd level support).
• Collaborate with project teams to address technical challenges effectively.
• Ensure compliance with IT security standards and best practices.
• Maintain documentation and liaise with vendors and IT teams for support.

Mandatory Skills:

• Linux (e.g., Red Hat), Microsoft platforms, and containerization tools (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Expertise in cloud infrastructure (AWS).
• Automation tools (Ansible) and patch management.

Desired Skills:

• Network protocols, devices, and security standards (ISO, PCI DSS).
• Database management (MariaDB).
• Virtualization tools (VMware).
• Monitoring/SIEM tools (Nagios, Splunk, etc.).
• IT Service Management knowledge (ITIL practices).

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related fields.
• Proven experience as a System/Network Administrator or equivalent.
• Proficiency with operating systems (Windows, Linux).
• Strong problem-solving, multitasking, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in hybrid environments (on-premise and cloud-based).
• Advanced scripting capabilities (e.g., Python, shell scripting).
• Solid understanding of infrastructure storage (SAN) and networking basics (DNS, DHCP, etc.).
• Exposure to patch management tools (WSUS, SCCM).
