Title: SDET (Python Automation Engineer) –

B2B Contract

Location: Poland ( Hybrid)

Industry: Global Payments & Financial Technology

Work Model: B2B Contract

Type: Long-term contract

Shift: Late shift required (aligning with EST Scrum meetings)

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and optimize automated test scripts using Python and frameworks such as Pytest (or similar).

• Create test cases, test plans, and documentation based on Jira stories and requirements.

• Perform UI automation using Playwright.

• Perform API automation for RESTful microservices.

• Use SQL/MySQL for database validation and data-driven test cases.

• Work with Robot Framework (experience is a strong plus).

• Troubleshoot automation failures quickly and effectively.

• Collaborate closely with cross-functional engineering teams.

• Participate in EST-based Scrum ceremonies (later shift availability required).

Requirements

• 3+ years in test automation.

• Strong hands-on Python coding and experience with Python-based test frameworks.

• Experience with REST API automation.

• Knowledge of UI automation (Playwright preferred).

• Strong SQL/MySQL knowledge for backend validation.

• Experience with Jira for test case management.

• Ability to debug automation issues efficiently.

• Good communication and ability to work in cross-border teams.

Nice to Have

• Experience with Robot Framework.

• Experience in the payments/fintech/banking domain.

• Experience with CI/CD pipelines.
