Operational Controls Execution (Dora)

We are looking for an Operational Controls Execution specialist to support Business Continuity and Crisis Management (BCCM) initiatives within a large financial services environment.

Location: Poland (hybrid Warsaw, Gdansk, Gdynia) Contract Role Industry: Banking / Financial Services

Key Responsibilities

• Work in close collaboration with BCCM RRP project teams and business/technology stakeholders to establish controls as required by internal and external auditors

• Review and understand BCCM Testing Framework uplifts where operational controls are required

• Establish and integrate operational controls within the BCCM framework using internal guidelines

• Prepare and maintain documentation of internal guidelines, regulatory requirements, and control frameworks

• Continuously update documentation as the project evolves

• Support Technology Risk Management (1LoD), BCCM 1st LoD and BCCM RRP teams in implementing controls

• Monitor and report on control effectiveness

• Support project delivery leadership with control documentation and updates

• Track open actions, plan follow-ups, and ensure timely updates

Required Experience

• 1–3 years of experience in a similar or related role working with business and risk teams

• Experience collaborating with 2nd and 3rd line of defence (2LoD / 3LoD) and business stakeholders

• Understanding of Business Continuity and Crisis Management (BCCM) frameworks and processes

• Experience with risk and controls management methodology

• Ability to identify, document and implement operational controls

• Experience in project documentation, presentations, and delivery materials

• Knowledge of regulatory requirements and compliance frameworks

• Understanding of operational controls and testing frameworks

• Experience with failover and restore from backup testing is beneficial
