MS Platform Engineer – SCADA / AEMS - Romania

We are seeking an experienced EMS Platform Engineer with strong expertise in SCADA, AEMS, and related platforms to support installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and customer-specific customizations. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with e-terra EMS/DMS products, power systems, and related operational technologies. Location: Bucharest, Romania (Hybrid/remote)

Type: B2B Contract or Permanent

Key Responsibilities

• Install, analyze, and troubleshoot e-terra DMS and related products.

• Model various electrical devices within SCADA/AEMS platforms.

• Diagnose and resolve intermediate to advanced issues using a variety of troubleshooting tools and methods.

• Conduct SUV testing, customer customizations, and performance validation.

• Support and maintain e-terra EMS products, ensuring system stability and compliance with operational requirements.

• Utilize SCADA and modeling tools for configuration and optimization.

• Apply knowledge of both Transmission and Distribution electrical grids in operational environments.

• Ensure compliance with NERC CIP standards in system operations and maintenance.

• Work with networking protocols including TCP/IP, IP addressing, routing, LAN, DNS, Active Directory, and firewalls.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Proven expertise in e-terra EMS/DMS installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting.

• Experience in SCADA, AEMS, and Power Systems.

• Strong understanding of Transmission and Distribution electrical grids.

• Familiarity with User Interface, SCADA, and modeling tools.

• Working knowledge of NERC CIP Standards.

• Practical experience with TCP/IP protocols, IP addressing, routing, LAN, DNS, Active Directory, and firewalls.
