Manual/Functional Test Engineer
📌 We are looking for a Manual/Functional Test Engineer on behalf of our client for working on large-scale social media applications used globally.
📍 Location: Warsaw and Gdansk, Poland
Hybrid: 4 days onsite work (MUST)
Working days: Sunday to Thursday
Contract: Permanent Employment (UoP)
Start date: Immediate

Responsibilities:
Develop detailed test plans for web-based and device-based applications/features (social media applications (Family of Apps) and their software features).
Develop detailed test cases/test suites for the application features, change requests, and new business requirements.
Execute test cases to test new features, changes, defects, regression, and new releases.
Perform manual and automated testing across multiple platforms (mobile, desktop-based).
Identify, isolate, and report bugs with clear reproduction steps and logs.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to triage issues and verify fixes.
Maintain test environments and manage test data for repeatable validation.
Test suite and defect log maintenance.
Contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes and tools.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
3-5+ years of experience in software/hardware testing or QA roles.
Strong understanding of QA methodologies, test case design, and defect tracking.
Experience in test management, defect management activities, and related tools.
Experience with test automation tools (e.g., Selenium, Appium, Pytest).
Good understanding of application management processes – Software development, DevOps, deployments, quality assurance.
Familiarity with social media applications, platforms, and media is highly desirable.
Excellent attention to detail and communication skills.
Experience working with cross-functional teams and stakeholders (business, dev, infra, security, etc).
Good to have Skills:
Experience with social media application testing.
Knowledge of social media application features, system integrations.
Comfort working in fast-paced, experimental environments.
