• Manage, maintain, and enhance complex Kafka cluster setups
• Lead Kafka integration, replication, configuration, performance tuning, and upgrades
• Develop and automate with Ansible CI/CD pipelines and Java shell scripts
• Write Kafka producers/consumers using Java, Spring Boot, REST/SOAP
• Monitor system performance, perform trend analysis, and implement improvements
• Collaborate with teams to enhance Kafka automation and services
• Support long-term strategic architecture and platform evolution

What we expect:

• 12–15 years of total experience with strong Kafka integration background
• Solid hands-on skills with Kafka, Java/Spring Boot, REST/SOAP services
• Experience with CI/CD using Ansible
• Scripting and security implementation via Java shell scripting
• Fluency in English; Polish is a strong advantage
• Based in or willing to work onsite 2 days/week in Gdańsk

Nice to Have:

• Previous work in regulated industries (e.g., insurance, finance)
• Understanding of enterprise Kafka governance and automation best practices
