Cloud Solutions Architect
Responsibilities:
- Gathering customer insights, and maps architecture and digital transformation solutions to customer business outcomes
- Acting as the voice of the customer by driving new feedback, insights, and resources across internal teams to add and prioritise
- Representing the customer to internal teams (e.g. Engineering) to shape products and services by providing insights across the territory, e.g. Advocating for the customer at all opportunities and shares customer success stories with the wider internal team
- Developing and expanding existing impactful relationships with customer architects and technical specialists, technical decision makers (TDMs), and business stakeholders. Receives and synthesizes data about customer business and technical requirements, addresses them with technical architecture(s), and demonstrates and proves those solutions' capability and value through design collaboration sessions with the customer
- Contributing to and understanding how work aligns with customer success plan and meeting customer needs by partnering with the appropriate internal teams and resources to deliver customer outcomes
- Supporting customer skilling by delivering as a trusted technical advisor to ensure customer readiness by facilitating technical discussions and enabling operational health and cloud readiness. Assesses and transfers knowledge to close customer skill gaps
- Identifying and anticipating issues and advising customers to operating and optimizing performance in accordance with Microsoft, AWS and/or Google best practices
- Supporting definition of customer conditions of success and anticipating customer dissatisfaction and unmet needs and executes strategies to improve experience, value realization, and acceleration of customer transformation
- Actively listening and respectfully challenging customers when going in the wrong direction, presenting insights and alternatives, and taking action appropriately
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field
- Openness to international business trips
- Minimum 5 years of success in consultative/complex technical sales and deployment projects, architecture, design, implementation, and/or support of highly distributed applications
- Proven track record of building deep technical relationships with senior IT executives in large or highly strategic accounts
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to orchestrate, lead, and influence virtual teams, ensuring successful implementation of customer projects
- Required one or more of certificate: AZ-305, SC-100, AZ-500, SC-300
- Extensive technical experience with cloud and hybrid infrastructures, architecture designs, migrations, and technology management
- Experience and understanding of large-scale application portfolios in enterprise-wide environments
- Extensive technical experience with cloud-native app hosting through software design, development, deployment, and app refactoring/migrations
- Familiarity with scalable architectures using App Service, API management, serverless technology, functions and logic apps, container orchestration Kubernetes
