IT Project Manager – Financial Sector

We are looking for a highly experienced IT Project Manager to join a leading client in the financial services sector. As a Level 4 expert, you will lead complex and cross-functional projects with strategic impact, working autonomously while contributing to cost efficiency, process optimization, and organizational transformation.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end project delivery, including planning, execution, timing, cost control, and quality assurance
• Lead or coordinate cross-functional teams, ensuring effective resource utilization in matrixed environments
• Provide clear, timely, and transparent project status reporting to stakeholders
• Anticipate and mitigate risks, delays, or issues early in the project lifecycle
• Contribute to the bank’s broader transformation goals by initiating process and procedural improvements beyond your unit
• Support or participate in Service Management and Risk Management activities
• Act as a coach and role model, demonstrating excellence and mentoring peers within the organization

Requirements

• 8+ years of project management experience, ideally within banking or financial services
• Proven ability to lead complex, high-visibility projects and influence strategic direction
• Strong understanding of IT delivery models, risk controls, and service processes
• Ability to operate autonomously, manage ambiguity, and align diverse teams toward shared goals
• Exceptional communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills
