Data Engineering Lead (HX/)

One of our multinational client is seeking a Data Engineering Lead to join its rapidly expanding Data & AI practice .This role focuses on designing, implementing, and optimizing enterprise-scale data solutions using Snowflake, DBT, and Python, with an emphasis on Data Vault 2.0 methodologies and cloud-based data engineering frameworks.

The ideal candidate will combine technical depth with strong stakeholder engagement skills, leading data transformation initiatives that drive business intelligence, governance, and analytics for the client’s global operations. Key Responsibilities

• Lead design and delivery of large-scale data engineering solutions using modern cloud data platforms (Snowflake preferred).

• Implement Data Vault 2.0 methodologies to support historical tracking and agile enterprise data warehousing.

• Build transformation pipelines using DBT, ensuring automated testing, documentation, and version control.

• Optimize Snowflake performance through effective warehouse design, materialized views, and cost management strategies.

• Develop custom Python frameworks for data ingestion, integration, and advanced processing.

• Collaborate with stakeholders and business leaders to identify opportunities, define data requirements, and ensure solution alignment with business goals.

• Foster relationships with project managers, IT teams, and business partners to drive successful data and AI outcomes.

• Champion DataOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines, data quality validation, and GitOps-based infrastructure deployment.

Required Skills & Experience

• 15+ years of total IT experience, with strong focus on data engineering and AI.

• Expertise in Snowflake, DBT, and Data Vault 2.0.

• Strong proficiency in Python and SQL for advanced data workflows.

• Deep understanding of DataOps, CI/CD, and data governance best practices.

• Experience with Azure Data Platform and certifications such as SnowPro Core/Advanced or Azure Data Engineer Associate.

• Excellent stakeholder communication and business engagement skills.

• Proven ability to translate complex data challenges into actionable business insights.

Education
