Azure Cloud Specialist -Remote EU

Dear Consultant, We are seeking experienced Azure Cloud Specialists to join our cloud delivery team. This role involves running day-to-day Azure operations for European customers, fixing complex issues, leading cloud migrations, and building automation, cost governance, and security tooling. Key Responsibilities Implement Azure best practices, identify gaps, and drive performance fine-tuning initiatives

Design secure and scalable virtual networks to support workloads

Configure policies, rules, autoscaling, OS hardening, and other Azure services

Configure, deploy, automate, and resolve complex issues on Azure DevOps Perform configuration management and disaster recovery tasks

Contribute to the design and validation of test cases and scenarios

Automate and scale Azure IaaS deployments using ARM templates, Terraform, and runbooks

Drive change management processes within the team Identify and remediate security vulnerabilities .

Lead major incident management until resolution, ensuring communication with stakeholders

Execute high-impact changes and manage critical incidents

Maintain and update project-specific documentation

Prepare knowledge management plans and support team upskilling initiatives

Required Skills & Experience

8+ years in IT infrastructure and Cloud Operations

5+ years hands-on in Azure Cloud Operations

Strong experience with Azure services: VM, VNET, NSG, Storage, VPN, Load Balancers, autoscaling, AKS/ACS.

Backup & Recovery Knowledge of Azure PaaS services (Azure SQL, Web Apps, WAF, etc.)

Proficiency in automation tools (Azure Runbooks, ARM, Terraform)

Experience with networking, security, and OS hardening in Azure environments Hands-on experience in Azure DevOps automation and troubleshooting

Familiarity with monitoring & logging (Azure OMS, Application Insights)

Strong background in cost optimization, rightsizing, and autoscaling .

Experience with at least one additional technology: Windows, Linux, Virtualization, SQL, Oracle, Networking, or Firewalls

Good understanding of ITSM processes

Ability to collaborate with vendors and third-party partners

Excellent communication and presentation skills

Certifications (Preferred)

Microsoft Azure Administrator (AZ-103)

Microsoft Azure Architect Technologies (AZ-300)

ITIL and/or Agile methodologies

Vendor certifications in Virtualization, Systems, Storage, or Networking

Education Bachelor’s degree from a reputed institute
