Automation Tester - remote EU/ SY-CD

Dear Consultant,

We are seeking an experienced Automation Tester with strong expertise in Tricentis Testim, Selenium, API testing, and JavaScript programming. The successful candidate will design, build, and maintain test automation frameworks while collaborating closely with development teams to ensure reliable and scalable testing of backend and API systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable automation frameworks for API and backend testing.

• Collaborate with developers to ensure comprehensive test coverage.

• Write custom code in JavaScript within Testim for complex scenarios and add-ons.

• Develop and maintain automated tests using Selenium and integrate them into CI/CD pipelines.

• Analyze test results, identify defects, and document improvements.

• Stay updated with automation trends, tools, and technologies.

Must-Have Skills

• 7–12 years in test automation.

• Strong proficiency in JavaScript (required for custom code in Testim).

• Hands-on with Tricentis Testim and Selenium.

• Solid experience in API testing (Postman, Pytest, Requests).

• Good understanding of REST APIs, JSON, XML.

• Knowledge of relational databases (PostgreSQL or similar) for test data management.

Nice-to-Have Skills

• Familiarity with React and frontend testing frameworks (Selenium, Cypress).

• Strong problem-solving and analytical mindset.

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
