The Senior Project Manager will work closely with Operations teams to implement change efficiently by onboarding technical solutions and providing testing support. This role also involves onboarding new clients, offering business support for operational functions, and maintaining strong cooperation with both internal and external stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage new business onboarding projects within Operations
- Develop detailed project plans, analyzing effort, cost, and impact across various business areas
- Build and oversee an effective project team to ensure timely and responsible delivery of agreed changes
- Maintain comprehensive project documentation and secure all necessary internal and client approvals
- Collaborate with Business, Oversight, Relationship, and Product stakeholders for effective project execution
- Establish and enhance strong client relationships by delivering high-quality service and ensuring clear communication
- Drive innovation and process improvements by challenging the status quo and implementing competitive solutions
- Ensure compliance with local and global regulations for all implemented processes
- Support service quality by promptly identifying and escalating any issues
- Lead the resolution of project-related challenges across multiple business areas
- Provide guidance and support to colleagues in resolving production issues
- Foster a positive and professional work environment
- Conduct regular and ad hoc training sessions for team members
- Perform additional business-oriented tasks as requested by management
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in the Financial Services sector
- Strong understanding of Financial Operations
- At least 2 years of experience in a Project Manager role
- Excellent English communication skills (spoken and written)
- Strong team player with the ability to work independently or collaboratively under time constraints
- Highly organized with attention to detail, multitasking ability, and effective problem-solving skills
- Self-motivated with a proactive approach to project management, risk mitigation, and performance monitoring
- Experience in forming and managing project teams, chairing stakeholder meetings, and maintaining documentation and reporting
- Ability to build relationships with various stakeholders, ensuring effective communication and client satisfaction
Nice to have:
- Bachelor's degree or higher is preferred
- Knowledge of Fund Accounting and Performance Reporting is a plus
- Familiarity with Aladdin application is advantageous
