React Developer with WCAG

React Developer with WCAG

Responsibilities:

• Develop user interfaces using React with JavaScript/TypeScript and Tailwind CSS
• Ensure applications are accessible and meet WCAG standards
• Test and debug using screen readers, keyboard navigation, and the accessibility tree
• Apply proper use of ARIA roles and semantic HTML, including live regions
• Test developed features thoroughly to ensure functionality and compliance
• Communicate effectively within the team, provide updates, and ask for help when needed
• Demonstrate proactivity in problem-solving and researching unknown topics

Requirements:

• Proficiency in React, JavaScript, and TypeScript
• Experience with Tailwind
• Solid knowledge of WCAG and accessibility standards
• Ability to test and debug for accessibility using assistive technologies
• Understanding of accessibility concepts including live regions, ARIA roles vs semantic HTML
• Strong communication skills
• Proactive attitude and independent research capabilities
• Knowledge of English at B2 level (minimum)
• Attention to detail and responsibility for testing their own work
