Azure Platform Architect - DevOps

Devops Azure

Responsibilities:

• Act as a cloud subject-matter expert within the “Foundations” domain, supporting product teams in adopting Microsoft Azure cloud services

• Provide strategic architecture guidance and hands-on implementation support for scalable, secure, and robust Azure infrastructure solutions

• Collaborate with teams to design and implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions using BICEP and Terraform, with a focus on modularity and reusability

• Set up and optimize CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps tools to streamline deployment processes

• Guide and enforce best practices related to governance, networking, identity, and security within Azure environments

• Align solution designs with the Microsoft Cloud Adoption Framework and Well-Architected Framework to ensure compliance and operational excellence

• Lead initiatives to design and implement enterprise-grade cloud architectures that emphasize scalability, resilience, and cost efficiency

• Contribute to the organization’s transition to a cloud-native operating model through standardization, reusable components, and internal knowledge-sharing initiatives

Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years of experience in similar position

• Proven experience and deep technical expertise in Microsoft Azure, including both Infrastructure-as-a-Service (IaaS) and Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS) offerings

• Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code using BICEP and Terraform

• Strong working knowledge of Azure DevOps and modern CI/CD practices

• Solid understanding of cloud governance, security, and networking principles in enterprise Azure environments

• Familiarity with the Microsoft Cloud Adoption Framework and the Azure Well-Architected Framework

• Ability to design and deliver cloud solutions that meet enterprise-level requirements for availability, performance, and cost optimization

• Experience working in cross-functional teams and contributing to cloud platform standardization efforts

• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to support and influence teams across the organization

• English level: B2, C1
