Job description

We are searching for a skilled Big Data Engineer who is keen to participate in global projects for an American company.

The company offers various benefits, including benefit systems (medical & dental care, life insurance, multisport), holiday bonuses, training budget, free parking.

Salary: up to 15 000 PLN gross on permanent contract
Remote: up to 20%

Recruitment process include 3 steps: HR interview, technical interview, technical assignment (all remotely).

As a member of the data team, you will be responsible for:

Designing, developing and deploying data-driven software.
Implementing solutions around high volume enterprise applications using Hadoop.
Collaborating with data scientists which include building predictive models.

Skills:

Advanced hacking skills in Java, Scala or Python.
Experience with big data environment including Hadoop ecosystem with various tools such as: Spark, Hive, Pig, Flume, etc.
Hands-on experience with both relational- and non-relational databases.
Creativity and curiosity to go beyond current tools to deliver best solution to the problem.
Proficiency in English.
