Senior Scala Engineer | Wrocław

We are seeking a Senior Scala Developer to join our distributed team, contributing to the development of a cutting-edge archiving platform that unifies and modernizes the client’s archive systems. You will work in a collaborative, international environment focused on delivering scalable solutions and supporting the client’s digital transformation.

This position offers a hybrid work model with 3 days per week in our Wrocław or Kraków office.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain Scala-based applications

• Set up, drive and automate continuous integration and deployments to staging environments

• Improve developer experience and make it easy to do the right thing

• Challenge the team to follow best practices and eliminate process waste

• Troubleshoot production and infrastructure issues

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of working experience in software development

• Expertise in Scala, Java and Akka

• Proficiency in Akka Streams and functional programming

• Knowledge of PostgreSQL

• Strong written and verbal English communication skills (B2+)

Nice to have

• Familiarity with Gradle and Liquibase

• Experience with GitHub
