Job description

Client

Our client is a global travel company providing leisure, corporate, and wholesale travel services across multiple international markets.

Position overview

We are looking for a Senior Data Migration Analyst to take ownership of data analysis and migration activities across multiple enterprise systems, with a primary focus on migrating data into Microsoft Dynamics 365. This is a hands‑on role focused on understanding legacy data structures, designing target data models, and building reliable transformation processes that support system modernization initiatives.

The role requires someone who can independently analyze complex datasets, structure data from multiple sources, and manage migration workflows end‑to‑end — from investigation of source data to transformation and validation in the Dynamics 365 environment.

The ideal candidate is comfortable working directly with stakeholders, clarifying data structures, and independently implementing migration logic while ensuring that migrated data aligns with the target Dynamics data model.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze legacy business data structures related to clients, contracts, pricing models, product catalogs, and transactions.

  • Investigate how key entities are created, updated, and maintained across multiple systems (e.g., back‑office platforms, booking tools, CRM systems, and payment platforms).

  • Identify inconsistencies, structural issues, and data quality issues within source datasets.

  • Develop semantic data models that consolidate and standardize information from multiple systems.

  • Define and maintain data mapping rules between legacy data structures and target platforms.

  • Design logic for data normalization, deduplication, and prioritization of data sources when conflicting records exist.

  • Design and maintain ELT‑based migration processes for moving data from legacy environments into Microsoft Dynamics 365.

  • Build transformation logic for cleansing, normalizing, and restructuring datasets during migration.

  • Ensure consistency, traceability, and reliability of data throughout the migration process.

  • Build and maintain automated data processing workflows using Excel 365 and Power Query.

  • Create dynamic transformation models capable of processing large datasets without manual manipulation.

  • Maintain structured input data sources and transformation pipelines for repeatable migration processes.

  • Establish validation logic to verify the accuracy and completeness of migrated data.

  • Investigate anomalies and trace issues back to source systems.

  • Communicate data inconsistencies to relevant teams and work with them to resolve issues at the source.

  • Work directly with business and technical stakeholders to clarify data structures and migration requirements.

  • Document transformation logic and explain modeling decisions to ensure transparency.

  • Coordinate with teams responsible for source systems, target platforms, and related migration activities.

Requirements

  • Strong experience in data analysis, data modeling, and data transformation

  • Experience working on data migration or system transformation projects

  • Advanced Excel skills, including: dynamic arrays, complex formula‑based modeling, data structuring and transformation

  • Experience using Power Query (M language) for data extraction and transformation

  • Ability to work with large datasets from multiple systems

  • Strong analytical thinking and structured problem‑solving skills

  • Experience defining data mapping and transformation logic

  • Ability to work independently and interact directly with stakeholders

Nice to have

  • Familiarity with Dynamics 365

  • Experience with ELT/ETL concepts

  • Familiarity with data migration programs or system modernization initiatives

  • Exposure to CRM, ERP, booking platforms, or back‑office systems

  • Understanding of data governance or data quality frameworks

What We Offer:

  • Vacation days: Up to 26 business days per year.

  • 10 illness/special days off per year (fully paid, no medical papers needed) for all contract types

  • English language classes from the first working day

  • Access to external learning platforms: O’Reilly, LinkedIn Learning, Udemy, and a wide catalog of diverse internal training
