Project overview

Clients’ technological platforms are constantly evolving as they adopt new and emerging technologies to support their expanding businesses. The team manages applications at the heart of clients’ core business strategies and supports a global user base. The nature of clients’ businesses demands high levels of agility, which in turn requires the team to be technically superior.The project is part of the client’s global technology modernization roadmaps. It aims to equip key business lines with the technology needed to address modern market challenges and seize new opportunities. The development focuses on core business applications using a modern AWS toolset with Python on the backend. As the project is in its early stages, a significant portion of the work involves architectural design, technology selection, and proof-of-concept (POC) activities.

Position overview

We are looking for an experienced React & Next.js Developer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing scalable and maintainable frontend architectures using React.js and Next.js. You will work closely with UX designers to deliver user-friendly, high-performance UI components, ensuring a seamless experience for a global user base.This position offers the opportunity to contribute to a cutting-edge project that is part of a broader technology modernization roadmap, leveraging modern AWS tools and Python on the backend.

Responsibilities

  • Develop scalable and maintainable frontend architecture using React.js and Next.js

  • Implement and optimize reusable UI components using Fluent UI

  • Collaborate with UX designers to ensure consistent and user-friendly component designs

  • Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members

  • Optimize components for maximum performance and reusability

  • Stay updated with the latest frontend technologies and industry trends

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field

  • 5+ years of experience in frontend development, with at least 3 years in a middle or senior role

  • Extensive experience with React.js, including hooks and context API

  • Strong knowledge of Next.js and its features for server-side rendering and static site generation

  • Proficiency in working with Fluent UI or similar component libraries

  • Deep understanding of frontend performance optimization techniques

  • Experience in designing and implementing scalable component libraries

  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail

  • Strong communication skills and ability to work in a collaborative environment

Nice to have

  • Experience with micro frontends architecture

  • Familiarity with design systems and component-driven development

  • Knowledge of testing frameworks

  • Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and build tools
