Fullstack Developer (Angular+Java)

Our client is an international technology company operating in the RegTech sector, delivering software solutions that support risk management, regulatory compliance, and reporting for financial institutions.

We are looking for a Senior Fullstack Developer to join a product team building auditable, regulation-ready systems for processing and understanding regulatory content.

This role is primarily backend-focused, with strong exposure to AI/LLM integrations, data processing, and compliance-driven architectures and frontend development using Angular.

You will work closely with product teams, regulatory experts, frontend engineers, and platform teams to design and deliver reliable, transparent, and traceable solutions.

Your Daily Missions

• Design and implement fully auditable backend services for regulatory content ingestion, parsing, and processing.

• Integrate hosted LLM APIs (e.g., OpenAI, Anthropic) via an LLM-agnostic abstraction layer.

• Build and maintain human-in-the-loop workflows (approve/edit/reject).

• Implement semantic search and chatbot grounding using PGVector.

• Optionally contribute to the frontend layer (Angular).

• Collaborate closely with:

  • Frontend engineers (Angular).

  • Product managers and regulatory subject-matter experts.

  • Platform and DevOps teams.

• Contribute to and support architectural decisions.

The Essentials We’re Seeking

Core Engineering

• 5+ years of experience in fullstack development (preferably with Angular on the frontend).

• Strong proficiency in modern Java (Spring Boot) and TypeScript.

• Solid experience with PostgreSQL, including JSONB.

• Experience designing REST APIs and data contracts (OpenAPI).

• Familiarity with Docker-based deployments, Kubernetes, and cloud platforms (AWS or Azure).

  
  

AI & Data

• Hands-on experience integrating LLM APIs into production systems.

• Understanding of embeddings, semantic search, hallucination risks, and mitigation strategies.

• Experience with PGVector or other vector search solutions.

• Ability to transform unstructured text into deterministic, schema-driven outputs.

  
  

Quality, Auditability & Compliance

• Experience building systems that require traceability, auditability, and deterministic processing.

• Comfort working in regulated or risk-sensitive environments (FinTech, RegTech, HealthTech, GovTech, etc.).

Nice to haves:

• Experience in RegTech, FinTech, or compliance platforms.

• Knowledge of the FCA or other financial regulators.

• Experience with Python.

• Experience with MS SQL or Oracle, including:

  • Data extraction and transformation.

  • Complex queries and stored procedures.

  • Schema analysis.

• Experience with data migration, ETL patterns, and data validation.

• Experience with legacy-to-modern system migrations.

• Experience with Angular-based workflows and message queues (Kafka, SQS, etc.).

• Familiarity with AWS services and IAM.

• Experience designing microservice architectures (and knowing when not to use them).
