Software Developer in Test (Java/Python)

Hi! We’re looking for a seasoned Software Developer in Test with a strong background in both Java and Python. In this role, you'll be developing and enhancing test automation frameworks and contributing across the software delivery lifecycle within a global Agile team.

💰 B2B | 155–170 PLN net+vat/h

📍 Hybrid – Kraków / Wrocław, Poland (3 days/week onsite)

📅 Start: ASAP | Duration: 12 months (with possible extension)

Requirements

Must-Have:

• 8+ years of experience in building test automation frameworks with Java and Python  

• Expertise in Playwright, Cucumber, and TestNG  

• Hands-on experience in setting up CI/CD pipelines (GitLab, Jenkins) 

• Strong SQL skills and knowledge of Oracle PL/SQL (packages, procedures, queries) 

• Solid Unix shell scripting skills 

• Experience working in Agile environments 

• Excellent communication, documentation, and presentation skills 

• Familiarity with GitLab, Autosys  

• Fluent English 

Nice to Have:

• Exposure to Azure AKS, Databricks  

Your responsibilities

1. Design and maintain scalable, reliable test automation frameworks 

2. Support end-to-end software delivery including requirements, testing, deployment 

3. Ensure system quality, performance, and observability 

4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams and represent client needs in technical decisions 

5. Participate in incident resolution and post-mortem analysis 

6. Contribute to knowledge sharing and promote engineering best practices
