Java Tech Lead

Hi, there! We’re on the lookout for a skilled Senior Java Developer who's ready to take the leap into a Technical Lead position. This is a long-term opportunity within the investment banking space, where you'll help shape modern platforms that support global market financing. You'll be collaborating closely with distributed teams across multiple regions.

📍 Location: Hybrid model – Kraków, Poland (2–3 days/week onsite)

💼 B2B: 155-165 PLN/hour

📅 Start Date: August or September | Duration: 12 months

🎯 Must have:

• Availability to start in August or September

• Willingness to work on-site in Kraków 2–3 times per week

Requirements description

• Solid Java expertise (7+ years in enterprise development)

• Proficiency in Spring & Hibernate

• Experience with messaging tools (JMS, Kafka)

• Familiarity with Git and modern version control workflows

• Strong SQL knowledge & database optimization skills

• Testing mindset (TDD/BDD)

• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills

• Fluent English

• Proven leadership in tech or team lead roles

Your responsibilities

1. Develop and test scalable, high-performance applications 

2. Drive architecture and design discussions 

3. Conduct code reviews and enforce best practices 

4. Troubleshoot and resolve platform-level issues 

5. Collaborate closely to clarify requirements and reduce uncertainty
